    Description
    •  Plan warehouse layout and space requirements in order to prevent loss or damage, and to achieve full warehouse optimization
    •  Responsible for inventory control and tracking; record all inventory movement, including handling product returns
    •  Maintain strict control over inventory levels in order to meet internal and external demand of product
    •  Identify discrepancies between inventory records and take action to resolve the issue

    •  Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift

You are responsible for monitoring, managing and measuring all sales processes, providing direction for continuous improvement initiatives and meeting or exceeding the region’s business objectives for six branches: Hamilton, Mississauga, Toronto, Montreal, Quebec City and Halifax.

    You will be responsible for the following duties:

    • Conferring with owners, architects, developers, consultants and contractors of new and/or existing structures to determine optimal equipment required and to generate new sales.
    • Preparing and formally present bids
    • Evaluating project details (bid and contract documents, site conditions, project needs) and providing recommendations on best available solutions

    TECHANICAL SALES TRAINEE, OTIS CANADA INC.

    Otis Canada Inc. is currently recruiting for an entry-level opportunity as a Technical Sales Trainee. In this position you will be responsible for the promotion, sales and account management of elevator maintenance contracts.

    During your training you will learn how to prospect and qualify leads, manage your territory, and sell maintenance contracts. You will obtain broad product knowledge of all elevator and escalator lines and learn how to make effective sales presentations. You will also learn how to find parts and pricing, how the bidding process works and how to create a proposal.

    You will be responsible for:
    • Managing and developing service sales territory through selling maintenance contracts
    • Educating customers and developing strategic solutions
    • Achieving maintenance contract sales objectives through engaging current and new customers 
    • Maximizing customer satisfaction through prompt and efficient handling of customer inquiries
    • Making effective sales presentations
    • Managing ongoing accounts and answering customer inquiries
    • Completing weekly, monthly, and yearly reports
    • Performing other duties as assigned
